As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have a major role in assisting Selligent Marketing Cloud clients and partners in resolving any issues that they may have in working with the platforms.  These issues may cover a wide range of topics or components within the platforms itself, including email, content, reporting, database queries and more. Providing top tier technical support and client service through these instances will be the key responsibility of the Technical Support Engineer.
You will be a part of a close-knit, but widely distributed team that spans 7 countries in two continents, that is driven, passionate about problem solving, and operates in a fast-paced, high-technology environment.  The role will provide ample opportunity for learning new things, meeting new challenges, and the ability to adapt to different environments and use-cases.

Duties

  • Power user of the Selligent Marketing Cloud platform; understand basics of digital marketing programs.
  • Monitor ticket system and inbound requests for new or updated activities.
  • Decisively engage with the case by reproducing and replicating the issue, troubleshooting and diagnosing potential issues with the platform, and coordinating with internal teams.

Job Profile

Selligent Marketing Cloud is looking for an experienced marketing leader to spearhead our Demand Generation efforts across Northern Europe (UK&I, DACH, BeNeLux and Nordics). Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Demand Generation, the successful candidate will lead a team of two dedicated marketing managers to develop the regional demand generation marketing strategy and deliver campaigns to support the sales organisation. This role offers an opportunity to be a key player in growing our business across Northern Europe.  

Key objectives include creating awareness of and education about Selligent’s offering, establishing and managing demand generation campaigns, and generating MQLs and contribution to revenue through field marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative – identifying new and inventive ways to generate qualified leads for the sales team while putting everything in place to track, measure and report back on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

 

In this role, you will…

  • Own lead and demand generation strategy and execution for Northern Europe
  • Work with the global team to create the regional go-to-market marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, MQLs and pipeline to support a driven sales team
  • Support the corporate strategy with annual planning and forecasting
  • Ownership of Northern European budget to deliver against KPIs
  • Work closely with the sales organisation in a collaborative and aligned dynamic
  • Collaborate with product marketing, client marketing and other members of the organisation to fully understand and support Selligent’s strategy
  • Lead all PR efforts in the region, liaising with several PR agencies to drive brand awareness and messaging

  • A strong background in demand generation and marketing business solutions; software/SaaS marketing experience strongly preferred
  • The ability to deliver a well-rounded marketing strategy including a mix of offline and online initiatives, including nurturing, PPC, SEA, events, webinars and digital advertising

As a Data Applications Specialist, you will have a major role in ensuring that current and future Selligent internal systems have a constant and accurate flow of data.  This role is part of the global MIS Team and reports into the MIS Director. MIS team manages all information systems for sales and account management, as well as services and support management, marketing and the general management. Amongst the most important platforms are Salesforce, Selligent and Jive. You maintain and configure the existing and future MIS platforms, together with the rest of the MIS Team. You analyze and understand user needs and are able to develop user friendly solutions and identify opportunities for improvement. Oversee user demands and issues in our internal ticketing system.

 

What you’ll do

  • Execute integration projects, connecting data from internal systems into our Salesforce instance via API. 
  • Support department initiatives by utilizing existing technologies and provide recommendations for future technologies.
  • Translate new business use-cases into technical data requirements.
  • Estimate scopes for project work based upon requirements; proactively manage deliverables tied to project plans.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues with data entering or exiting the internal systems.
  • Provide consultation and support for staff with issues related to integrations and use.
  • Collaborate with other team members, taking on new assignments as instructed with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Assist where needed in large scale Salesforce development via apex, process builder, workflows, triggers, and more.
  • Provide documentation about revisions and contribute in change set control
  • Willingness to travel (about 10%).

You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with SOAP and REST API.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Data Modeling and Microsoft T-SQL.
  • Experience with Apex and Force.com development preferred but not required
  • Experience with Dell Boomi as a middleware preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, or C is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Passionate about data integrity and efficiency.
  • Meticulous; eye for detail and a highly-developed sense of responsibility.
  • Effective at solving problems, either autonomously or with the help of other teams.

Job Description
Responsible for North America product marketing needs: providing North America market perspective to the product team and providing product expertise to the North America marketing, sales and sales enablement team. The company has made a big shift towards a Market-Driven Product development strategy and this role is an important element of that new operating mode.
Duties
• Develop North America content and collateral, use cases, sales tools, and other deliverables to educate internal and external communities
• Own North America market requirements, analysis and intelligence through market research, understanding prospect challenges, solution assessment and competitive review
• Highlight key platform features and benefits for benefit of Sales and Relationship Management for North America.
• Develop, maintain and publish our prospect/analyst product roadmap and more detailed client/partner product roadmap for North America
• Work directly with the Global Product Marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency through strong and effective messaging and launches
• Help and support third-party partnerships with technology partners in North America
• Support the launch of new product and service solution offerings and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan for North America.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
• Significant experience in Product Marketing or Product Management manager roles within the broad Digital Marketing / Marketing Software space
