Job Description
Selligent is currently hiring an Event Marketing Manager to join our team in New York on a full-time basis. The Event Manager is responsible for managing and generating demand through industry and company events. Creativity and strong interpersonal skills are critical as the manager will work across internal and external teams to help conceive, design, execute and measure the effectiveness of these demand generation initiatives.
 
To succeed in this position, candidate must have demonstrated past ability to manage multiple enterprise events simultaneously. This role also requires great attention to detail, an eye for professional event execution, and exceptional organization and time management skills.
 
Past experience leveraging marketing automation tools (Hubspot) and CRM (Salesforce) for event promotion, management and reporting is preferred.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Work with the leadership team to vet tradeshow and Selligent hosted event opportunities, research new opportunities
  • Create an annual event schedule and manage company’s North America Events Calendar
  • Plan and manage event budget
  • Set goals and objectives for each event around lead generation and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Manage event-related logistics, including booth selection and set up, sponsorship and advertising activities, food & beverage orders, function space set-up, staffing, rooming lists, etc.

  • Oversee post-event follow-up with sales team members
  • Manage leads from events by routing to sales or placing them in the appropriate nurturing campaign in SFDC
  • Track and report on event success monthly/quarterly, using appropriate metrics based on event goals
  • Collaborate with demand marketing to identify additional post-event lead generation opportunities
  • Stay up to date on the latest event and engagement marketing best practices, approaches, innovations, and technologies; share your insights with key stakeholders across the company

 
Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of successful experience in event marketing
  • Experience working in a B2B software company or a supporting event agency and working cross-functionally
  • Solid project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within agreed-upon timeline and budget

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will have a major role in ensuring that Selligent Marketing Cloud clients and partners deliver interactive campaigns that successfully engage customers and drive business results. As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for the operational success for a regional portfolio of clients and partners. By leading each status sheet, during both the on-boarding phase, and then the on-going period, you’ll oversee allocating resources, such as front and backend developers, to execute development tasks according to your project plan.
