As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have a major role in assisting Selligent Marketing Cloud clients and partners in resolving any issues that they may have in working with the platforms.  These issues may cover a wide range of topics or components within the platforms itself, including email, content, reporting, database queries and more. Job Description

In the Project Services team, the SPC is in charge of Expertise Management, Knowledge Management, Project Management and Product Enablement with respect to partners. He reports to the Project Services Director. To maintain a sufficient level of expertise and not lose touch with the customer's reality (in order to justify his speech with partners), a minor part of his activity is that of TPM (from 20% to 40%, to modulate depending on the activity and the business priorities jointly decided by the Services Division and the Partnerships Department).

 

Duties

Expertise Management

It's about providing coaching and support to partners throughout their relationship with our clients.

SPC is the point of entry for our partners for any need of expertise. He can then provide a solution but also advise, guide and involve the right resources in expertise.

He must have an overview of the expertise provided and arbitrate with the Project Services Director, the Partner Account Manager and the CSM team, the investment granted to a particular partner.

 

Knowledge Management

This is to organize technical training with our partners. Initial training for new partners, training for new employees, training in complementary modules and certification.

He must update the inventory of skills at our partners and organize, in collaboration with the CSM, regular points with them to ensure the follow-up of the resources who work on the Selligent tools.

 

Project management

What you’ll do

  • Own the operational responsibility for the product development team and function, reporting to the VP of Product of Selligent Marketing Cloud
  • Work with the team to articulate the vision and set the roadmap
  • Explore new opportunities, detect client needs and improve the product for your clients and customers whilst still achieving Selligent’s commercial goals.
  • Define the product requirements by working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Develop your product according to the agile process together with engineering and product design.
  • Manage the product backlog with prioritisation, trade-offs and constraints.
  • Be an expert in the competitive landscape and explore emerging markets indirectly competing with our proposition.
  • Back up your opinions with data and well-structured arguments – we don’t like big business cases, but you must know the ‘why’ behind your decisions
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to build product demand
  • Interface with customers to gather feedback and inform product roadmap

You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of product management experience using agile techniques; ideally in a SaaS environment and B2C marketing context
  • Have had success in taking a product from concept to live status, iterating collaboratively with design and engineering peers, and shipping at scale.
  • Are highly collaborative and want to work in a multi-cultural organization
  • Are highly skilled in translating customer and market requirements into clear roadmap deliverables
  • Have experience in agile work environments
  • Are decisive and results-oriented but always willing to solicit ideas/feedback from the larger team
