Selligent Marketing Cloud Successfully Completes Soc 2 Type 2 Examination and HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment

SAN JOSE, Calif. – February 11, 2020 – Selligent Marketing Cloud, the intelligent omnichannel marketing and experience cloud platform, today announced the successful completion of their 2019 System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination, as well as their 2019 HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment. These achievements reflect Selligent’s long-standing commitment to data security and protection. Both efforts were completed by independent, third-party auditing firm, 360 Advanced, Inc.

SOC 2 is an internationally-recognized auditing standard developed by the ‘American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (“AICPA”). Successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 examination is extensively recognized for demonstrating an organization’s commitment to the AICPA Trust Services Criteria: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy. By undergoing an annual SOC 2 audit, Selligent demonstrates an ongoing commitment to creating and maintaining a secure operating environment for its platform and services.

In addition to this year’s SOC2 Type 2 audit, Selligent underwent a HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment, which examined the sufficiency of Selligent’s data security controls against the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).
