Selligent Marketing Cloud Named a ClickZ Marketing Technology Award Finalist for Best Personalization Campaign with Opel Netherlands

Companies Recognized for Delivering Stellar Digital Customer Experiences

SAN JOSE, CALIF. March 12, 2019 – B2C marketing automation company Selligent Marketing Cloud today announced that is was named a finalist for ClickZ’s Marketing Technology Awards 2019 in the ‘Best Personalization Campaign’ category for powering digital marketing programs for European automaker Opel Netherlands (Opel NL). According to ClickZ, the award recognizes “the use of marketing technologies in the 'real world' to deliver a personalized marketing campaign.” Winners will be announced at ClickZ’s awards gala in New York City on March 21.

As consumer car shopping shifts to digital channels, Opel NL was looking to increase sales despite growing competition. Working with its digital agency, Ematters, Opel NL leveraged Selligent Marketing Cloud’s technology to manage its interactions with consumers across channels, as well as collect and analyze this data to feed into a single journey map that covers every customer touchpoint.

The holistic approach maximized Opel NL’s ability to personalize and optimize engagement, resulting in a 473 percent growth in identified profiles for targeting, overall target database growth of 30 percent, and 16 percent attribution of all Opel NL sales.
