Selligent Awards 2019 Honor Top Brands at Reconnect19 in Paris

TF1, Vertbaudet, and La MAE recognized for exceptional digital marketing campaigns powered by Selligent Marketing Cloud

PARIS – October 16, 2019 Selligent Marketing Cloud today announced the winners of the 2019 Selligent Awards in France following a ceremony at the company’s Reconnect19 event in Paris. Three brands were awarded honors for using Selligent’s marketing platform to develop, execute and manage highly successful digital marketing campaigns across three categories: Marketing Innovation, Omnichannel Customer Experience, and Consumer-First Marketing. Winners were chosen based on their best-in-class strategy, innovation, execution and campaign performance. The 2019 winners from France are:

Omnichannel Customer Experience: Vertbaudet

Leading European children’s clothing retailer Vertbaudet operates eight online properties, receiving more than 100 million visitors and selling 20 million products per year. The goal was to entice first-time customers with promotions to encourage a second purchase and convert them into long-term loyal customers. Using Selligent’s Cadence Manager, Vertbaudet created a complex journey to ensure that each customer always receive the most relevant communication. The program resulted in massive productivity for the marketing team and a better cadence of communications for new customers, resulting in an incredible 42% conversion rate for in-store and online purchases.

Marketing Innovation: TF1 (with agency Waisso)

The largest private television channel in Europe TF1 wanted to create an alignment between its content and marketing teams to streamline interactions and create efficiencies in the development, distribution and personalization of customer communications. With the help of its agency partner, Waisso, and the Selligent platform, TF1 has developed easy-to-use templates that multidisciplinary teams use to personalize and communicate more effectively with their 24 million registered users. The program has saved 70% of integration time compared to the previous process.

Consumer-First Marketing: La MAE

La MAE has been the number one family and children’s insurance provider in France since 1932. The team wanted to optimize the performance of its abandoned basket emails, and increase customer re-engagement and conversion. Using Selligent, La MAE tracked and analyzed consumers’ website behavior patterns to identify new conversion paths and reduce abandoned baskets through personalized offers. They built out journey maps to test for channels, timing and call to actions to optimize offers and conversion. The revamped abandoned basket email resulted in 70% open rate – a 40% lift from La MAE’s commercial email average, and enabled the team to share qualified leads with the contact center, resulting in increased conversion rates.

The Selligent Awards 2019 for France were judged by an independent panel that consisted of renowned marketing and business innovators from across Europe: Laura Patterson, data, GDPR and marketing expert; Aleix Brias, global marketing manager at Zinklar; Alexandre Stopnicki, entrepreneur, business angel and educational director of innovation and digital marketing MBA; Jordie Van Rijn, email influencer and consultant; marketing automation expert and author, Torsten Schwarz; Massimo Boraso, founder and CEO at Boraso Conversion Marketing; and Aragon Research CEO and lead analyst, Jim Lundy. Judging criteria included strategy, innovation, execution and the overall performance and results of the campaign.

Public Vote Award – November 2019

Winners from the UK, BeNeLux and Madrid were recently announced at the Reconnect19 events in those regions. Winners from Germany and Italy will be announced at events in those countries in the coming weeks. Campaigns that receive the highest scores from across all categories and territories will also be included in a global Public Vote Award with two winners identified for Europe and North America.
