JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have a major role in assisting Selligent Marketing Cloud clients and partners in resolving any issues that they may have in working with the platforms.  These issues may cover a wide range of topics or components within the platforms itself, including email, content, reporting, database queries and more. Providing top tier technical support and client service through these instances will be the key responsibility of the Technical Support Engineer.
You will be a part of a close-knit, but widely distributed team that spans 7 countries in two continents, that is driven, passionate about problem solving, and operates in a fast-paced, high-technology environment.  The role will provide ample opportunity for learning new things, meeting new challenges, and the ability to adapt to different environments and use-cases.

Duties

  • Power user of the Selligent Marketing Cloud platform; understand basics of digital marketing programs.
  • Monitor ticket system and inbound requests for new or updated activities.
  • Decisively engage with the case by reproducing and replicating the issue, troubleshooting and diagnosing potential issues with the platform, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Confidently and proactively communicate with clients and partners, driving towards case resolution.
  • Monitor and process system and service alerts to help meet availability requirements.
  • Thoroughly document client issues, steps taken throughout the investigation, and resolution steps for all cases.
  • Follow team processes and policies, striving to honor contractual service level agreements
  • Periodically participate in the shared on-call weekend, evening, and holiday rotation.

 

Required Skills

  • Ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable field
  • Familiarity with any of the following skills are preferred:
    • System: Windows Administration
    • Web Development: HTML, CSS
    • Database: SQL
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong client focus are a must.
  • Effective at troubleshooting and solving problems, either autonomously or with the help of other teams.
  • Openness to developing knowledge in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Some previous experience in a tech support, help desk, or client service position is ideal.
  • Fluent English language skills, Dutch or French native speaker.

Your Job

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for the operational success for a regional portfolio of clients. By leading each status sheet, during both the on-boarding phase, and then the on-going period, you’ll oversee allocating resources, such as front and backend developers, to execute development tasks according to your project plan.
 
What you’ll do

  • Efficiently project manage new client onboardings, migrations and existing client programs, always paying close attention to detail.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Selligent Marketing Cloud platform and integrations with other systems.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders, as the subject matter expert and key facilitator on the operational aspect of the client’s program.
  • Assisting in developing campaigns on Selligent Marketing Cloud platform during onboarding when required.
  • Work internal teams, via the clients and partners, to help with resolution of any outstanding support cases or other issues, such as product feedback, and program roadmaps.
  • Partner with the regional Client Success Manager to ensure the client is provided adequate and appropriate education, leveraging the Selligent Learning system, along with program specific coaching to ensure clients are achieving success.
  • Assist the Selligent Learning Team in improving and/or streamlining training and reference material for both external and internal consumption.

The focus of the Client & Third-party .Net integration developer will be on building a solid base that makes actual client requests a breeze to implement, resulting in less development time, rapid deployment, easier debug and maintenance and upgrades.

We are searching for a well-rounded individual that is self-motivated and reliable, to partner with both the sales, partner and relationship management teams to present overall business-driven technology solutions to partners, prospective and existing clients. You will be responsible for mapping the prospect’s/client’s business and technology requirements to Selligent’s market-leading technology and service solutions.

  • Function as the technical point of contact & product expert for the sales and account management teams
  • Conduct discovery sessions directly with prospective and existing clients to gather business and technology requirements
  • Define holistic client solutions consisting of the perfect mix of Selligent's technology and services, tied directly to prospect’s/client’s business and technology requirements
  • Collaborate with internal Selligent teams to develop the overall solution
  • Effectively communicate client requirements to the IT configuration team
  • Successfully manage multiple prospect sales and existing client engagement opportunities simultaneously
  • Respond to technical questions received via RFP and or RFI in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Present solutions onsite and/or via web-conference.
