Job Description

  • Responsible for partner eco-system, that means maintaining existing partners and recruitment of new partners
    • Engagement strategy
    • Build and maintain reporting on partners (skills set, training followed, number of clients, features/modules mastered)
    • Business development (lead generation, prospection list,…)
    • Co-marketing (events, digital media,…)
    • Evangelize Selligent
    • Manage potential conflicts within the partner community
  • Support the commercial  teams (Sales & Client Success) by closely managing partner interactions during the sales cycle.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders internally at Selligent, in particular the Sales Director and colleagues across the global partner organisation.
  • Be aware of the competitor landscape and market trends.
  • Position based in Munich, Germany

 

Required Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience working at or with Direct Digital Marketing Agencies, Marketing Service Providers or consultancy firms.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of a partner’s organization e.g. at both a technology user level and CxO.
  • Experience managing B2B sales cycles.
  • Capacity of being clearly sales oriented for strong partners development
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Direct report to the VP - Business Development Europe

  • Ability to provide a light software demonstration.
  • Ability to work alongside and guide other stakeholders within the partner team (e.g. Partner Product Consultant for technical support, Partner Marketing for recruitment and reach) to successful recruit, enable and grow partnerships.
  • Selligent has a long-standing Partner-First approach. The ability of Partner Managers in each region to collaborate, help shape the global partner strategy, and execute locally is key. Relevant experience of working this way within other organizations would be a plus.
  • Experience working with organizations of various sizes that fit the ideal Selligent Partner profile (big and small)
  • Experience in acquiring and managing partners.
  • Experience with pitching, selling and/or using Campaign Management & Marketing Automation software.

Job profile

As a Technical Consultant, you’re responsible for the operational success of your Clients portfolio. You work in close collaboration with the Selligent team members including project service developers, deliverability experts, support engineers, platform architects and any other stakeholders to reach your objectives. In case of Partner led clients, you work closely with the corresponding partner. You also collaborate with the Client & Partner Success Manager (CPSM), the Partner Product Consultant (PPC). 

What you'll do

Contribute and manage projects

  • In case, the partner leads the project:
    • Assist the partner in the identification of end-client objectives;
    • Assist the partner in the evaluation of the project scope ensuring the technical feasibility;
    • Assist the partner for ensuring a smooth client onboardings, migrations and/or delivery of client programs.
  • In case, the Selligent Technical Consultant leads the project:
  • Identify the client objectives;
  • Establish project scope ensuring the technical feasibility involving all relevant stakeholders;
  • Manage the client projects; budget follow-up, time management, planning, functional & technical analysis, …

Subject Matter Expert

  • Operate as a technical expert on the Selligent product suite. This includes technical analysis, supporting partners and clients on best practices and solving problems;
  • Help improving the product by sharing client cases, issues or any improvements with the Product team;
  • Assist the Selligent Learning Team in improving training and reference material for both external and internal consumption;
  • Train/support partners, and eventually clients, with technical workshops on how to integrate and use projects created by Selligent;
  • Proactively reach out to partners, and eventually clients, to improve system efficiency and offering (new) solutions.

Clients & Partners Relationship

  • Provide best-in-class services and assistance without over-promising;
  • Report and escalate potential risks or issues if needed;
  • For Partners and Partners led clients:
    • Understand partners clients’ business objectives and help them reach their goals;
    • Propose the correct solutions to partners for specific client’s business needs;
  • For clients led by Selligent
    • Understand the client’s business and help them reach their goals
    • Propose the correct solutions to the specific client’s business needs

Outstanding Support Cases

  • Assist Support Engineers for support cases related to client’s specific implementation.

You’re perfect for this role if you demonstrate

  • Excellent project management skills.
    • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with a comparable solution provider or digital agency.
  • Experience with projects involving databases, web services, HTML, CSS, .NET, ASP, and scripting languages such as JavaScript a plus.
  • Superior problem solving and accurate solution scoping abilities.
  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A strong desire to improve and grow as a professional and are highly coachable.
  • Openness to developing knowledge in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
