Yesterday, we announced that John Hernandez has handed the reins to me as CEO of Selligent. He remains an advisor to the company. John joined Selligent in 2017 to set the vision and plan that will lead to our continued growth.
And in 2019, we did exactly that.
2019 was an important year that kicked our market expansion into high-gear thanks to this strategy. We made great strides in new SaaS business in North America, and achieved growth across all of Europe. We also started seeing more recognition from the industry, being noted as a Leader by both Forrester Research and G2 in MarTech, and a “Hot Vendor in Customer Experience” by Aragon Research, just to name a few.
Additionally, we continued to grow our global client portfolio, bringing on innovative companies like TI Media and Holland Casino, and doubling down our strong partner-first model, nurturing relationships with partners around the world such as Merkle, Acxiom UK, Acceleration, Shaw Scott, Cisco and Genesys, among others.
Most importantly, we set our sights on the future.
John, alongside our leadership team which I was a member of as Chief Customer Officer for the last two years, has developed and refined a clear growth strategy. Now, it’s time to operationalize on the execution of this plan to take Selligent to its next phase of growth. It’s an exciting time to be here, and to be part of an organization that is making a difference in MarTech and is spearheading evolving the industry definition for customer experience (CX).
I want to thank our clients and partners around the world for their continued support of Selligent, and for inspiring us every day to build on the innovations that power their everyday customer interactions.
