Brussels, July 24, 2001 – Selligent, a leading European CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and e-business software company, has signed a contract with UNIZO, the Union of Self-employed entrepreneurs, for the implementation of Selligent’s CRM Marketing, Sales & Customer Care solutions. The main purpose of the new project is to integrate customer relationships management as part of the ongoing expansion of UNIZO, the largest organisation for self-employed entrepreneurs, SMEs and the professions in Flanders.
The agreement between Selligent and UNIZO involves setting up UNIZO’s database for managing relationships with its 80,000 members. This includes the design, preparatory study and configuration of the software for all regional offices, working on target groups, professional bodies and the national secretariat. In addition the project includes commissioning and full maintenance of the application.
Quality and versatility were the main reasons for UNIZO to team up with Selligent, as well as speed of implementation and the service package which was included in the total solution. Having a Belgian SME partner with coverage across Europe is of considerable importance to UNIZO.
This new strategy fits in with UNIZO’s plans to improve the management of complex relationships with customers and to further expand quality management. The components of the project are:
*co-ordinating various promotional exercises (mail shots for dozens of information sessions, membership campaigns, etc.);
*segmenting all members by life cycle (e.g.: start-up SMEs, SMEs with strong growth and SMEs whose growth is slowing down) and adapting communication accordingly;
* setting up a structure for an extensive internal and external customer relationship network;
* developing a knowledge base for first line advice and a Start-up Service.
