SELLIGENT REPORTS CONTINUOUS GROWTH IN GLOBAL MARKETS


European CRM specialist opens Canadian company, expands in Southern European and Nordic markets.

Gosselies, Belgium, September 3, 2001 – Selligent, a leading European CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and e-business software specialist has reported continuous expansion activity in its global markets as the company's CRM solutions, designed to work in culturally diverse environments, continue to earn increasing acceptance in a growing number of countries.

In the Nordic countries, a region that is renowned for its highly individual local communities, yet still having the ability to produce global brands, Selligent has appointed Christina Schiøtt Liaos as Business Development Manager. Christina is responsible for setting up Selligent activity in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. According to IDC, CRM has a high growth rate of 37% in Scandinavia. Selligent has already created first class customer references with Alfa Laval and Bahco/Sandvik, leading Scandinavian blue chip companies.

In Canada, Vincent Leclerc has opened up the first Selligent subsidiary in Toronto. Canada has been a late adopter of CRM applications with investments of less than USD 300 million in 2000 but this is expected to increase by 45% through 2001. Within this dual language culture, Selligent has high expectations from its new product lines in a buoyant marketplace.

Close to home in Europe, Selligent's Southern European Region grew by 45% in 2000. Selligent France's Michel Doric is now Vice President responsible for the Southern Region, assisted in the French marketplace by Jean-Claude Fourny, recently promoted to Sales Director France.
