Selligent records an operating profit of 10% for the first half of 2006

Gosselies, 25 July 2006 Selligent, a Franco-Belgian company which has become one of the leading CRM publishers in Europe, has announced an operating profit of 10% for the first six months of 2006, thanks to a 97% increase in licence sales in comparison with the same period in 2005.

The results for the first half of 2006 confirm the positive trend observed over the last quarters. Selligent has closed the first half of 2006 with an operating profit of ?540,000, representing over 10% of its turnover during this same period.

Total turnover was up by 35% in comparison with the same period in 2005, boosted by a 97% increase in licence sales.

"This turnover from licence sales represents over 60% of our annual target, while the first half of the year generally accounts for less than 40% of our annual licence sales," stated André Lejeune, Selligent's CEO. "This exceptional growth is the result of the great success of our new Selligent X@ suite and excellent cooperation with our integrator partners. It was also made possible by major project extensions within the AG2R, Bouygues Construction, Coface and Bureau Veritas International groups".

Selligent intends to keep this momentum going in the second half of the year: "All the signs are positive. In the first half of the year alone, we have qualified the number of projects required for our full year's turnover, and our success rate in converting qualified projects to orders is improving every month. These excellent results give us confidence for the next stage. After pursuing a profitability target of 10%, Selligent is preparing to gradually strengthen its presence in Europe and to this end is consolidating partnerships with international integrators who are already very active in France, Benelux and Germany," concluded André Lejeune.
