Zaventem, 3 April 2001 - Selligent, a leading European CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and e-business software company, has announced a partnership with IBS (International Business Systems). The agreement covers sales, implementation and consulting for Selligent customer relationship management solutions. This collaboration fits in with Selligent´s indirect sales policy of choosing dedicated partners to increase penetration in specific market segments.

Under the terms of the agreement IBS will undertake to offer, implement and manage Selligent 2000, Selligent´s CRM flagship product for its customer base. ' Selligent relies on partners to market its solutions. With a channels approach we can enter market segments that would otherwise take too many resources to access.”, says Jimmy Van Geit, Country Manager Selligent Belux.

With Selligent 2000, IBS has found all of the necessary CRM functionality to provide solutions for its clients. In particular, Selligent 2000 makes possible easy integration with ASW, an IBS enterprise resource planning solution, through middleware applications. As IBS specialises in total solutions for companies in a one-stop shop environment, this is an important reason for the two companies to work closely together.

“Selligent offers IBS a greater range of backoffice applications, by adding CRM to our own ERP solution. Now, in addition to a system that supports their total Supply Chain, we can also offer customers a best of breed software applicatioon that manages their customer relationships,' notes Marc Vancaeneghem, Unit Manager IBS.
