Since your CRM system is to reflect a complete picture of the companies and contact persons with whom your company interacts, Selligent also manages the flow of information between this CRM system and Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.BI-DIRECTIONAL SYNCHRONISATION
The Outlook and Notes integration functionalities provide bi-directional synchronisation of Selligent Company, Person and Action records with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes Contacts, Calendar and Tasks entries. The Outlook/Notes synchronisation is designed as a personal replication tool to avoid retyping calendar and contact information.
The scenario for transfering information to and from Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes can be started:
ManuallyAutomatically at connection to and/or disconnection from SelligentVia a script.It is also possible to bi-directionally synchronise Microsoft Outlook with a PDA.
Selligent technology allows synchronisation between MS Outlook and Selligent in line with SaaS standards. This synchronisation is handled via the Internet web services on which the Selligent architecture is based.
User-specific settings
- The Selligent administrator can configure synchronisation settings that are tailored to each user’s preferences and profile.
Synchronisation only applies to modified data
- Only data that has been modified in either Selligent or Outlook or Notes will be synchronised.
Field matching between Outlook and Selligent
- Selligent has mapped Selligent fields with standard Outlook fields for synchronisation. It is also possible for Selligent administrators to modify these and/or create new field mapping between newly configured Selligent fields and fields created in Outlook and to define filters for each import channel.
