Tablet computers are becoming more important in the mobile device space. While uptake and interest are highest in the US, we take a look at some major European markets.
Forrester's Reineke Reitsma wrote a post about the evolutions in the tablet market. Since Forrester's earlier forecast of the growth of the tablet market, new tablets have been introduced.
From a geographical perspective, Forrester found 5% of consumers in Europe's seven largest markets now have a tablet and 34% plan to buy one.
France, the UK and Germany are leading the pack with respective ownership percentages of 6, 5 and 4% as the chart below shows.
