Gosselies/Paris, 24 July 2007 Selligent has announced strong growth in sales for the first six months of 2007, posting a 23% increase over the same period in 2006. Turnover for the first half of 2007 amounted to EUR 6.6 million, compared to EUR 5.4 million over the same period in 2006. Growth in turnover over this first half of 2007 is being driven further ahead by growth in licence sales, to the tune of 27%.
Selligent is keeping up its momentum. While IDC is reporting average growth of 6.4% in the CRM software market for 2007 and a number of players are increasing their turnover mainly through acquisitions, Selligent is continuing its organic growth in licence turnover, with sales for the first half of 2007 up by 27% against the same period in 2006.
Selligent has therefore almost doubled its licence sales since summer 2005 and this growth is also going towards strengthening its profitability.
"We are observing a number of highly promising phenomena in the course of these first six months: Selligent has secured contracts from major accounts equipped with heavy-duty back-office software or who have historically used tailor-made software. This confirms the growing success of the Selligent philosophy towards major accounts", declares Albert Bokma, chairman of Selligent's Board of Directors.
In actual fact, unlike many of its competitors, Selligent has not followed the rationale of vertical integration of its offer, rather it is pursing its 'tailor-like' philosophy based on a generic approach, which offers the benefits of a tailor-made functional solution without the attendant disadvantages in terms of lead times for implementation, of costs and of maintenance. This strategy also enables a solution to be offered to businesses that have a tailored development strategy and which represent immense potential.
"This is confirmation of the growing success of our CRM suite in a burgeoning CRM software market. Over 50% of projects rolled out were based on tailor-made developments.
