Selligent und Vicindo vereinbaren die online Anbindung des Selligent CRM-Systems an die Direktmarketing Datenbank Spectron (Englische Version)
Gosselies, 12/03/2003 – Selligent, a leading vendor of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions offering rapid return on investment (ROI) for enterprises, has con-cluded an agreement with Vicindo, the direct marketing branch of the Belgian Post Group. The agreement enables Selligent users to link their CRM application with Spectron©, Vicindo’s direct marketing business database, via the Internet, so that they can update and expand their customer and prospect data. The result: more profitable sales and marketing cam-paigns.
A top-quality database is the basis for every CRM application. It is therefore essential for a company to be able to update its customer and prospect information at all times, and to ex-pand this data quickly – for marketing and sales campaigns that target new segments, for example. Organisations often find themselves in a dilemma: updating and expanding CRM data takes a lot of time, personnel and money, but without it, sales and marketing campaigns are largely a waste of money.
It was against this background that the CRM software supplier entered into a partnership with Vicindo. Selligent can now supply its customers with an additional service, which allows them to automatically update and expand customer and prospect information. This takes place via an XML (eXtensible Markup Language) connection between Selligent’s open-architecture CRM application, and the Vicindo databases. The two are technologically compatible, and technical integration only takes a few hours to complete.
Once it has been installed, a pop-up screen appears in the Selligent application each time the customer and prospect data of a Selligent user differs from that of Spectron©. If, for example, another contact person is appointed within the same company, the user can either use the current data of Spectron©, or retain his own contact. Furthermore, users can load all available data – for example, financial or sector-based information – from Spectron© directly into Selli-gent. This enables Selligent customers to expand and enlarge their CRM application in line with their requirements – all in super-quick time, and without the need for manual input.
The partnership agreement is specifically intended for Belgian Selligent customers who use the Sales or Marketing CRM modules. Selligent supports its customers by implementing the on-line connection with Spectron© and by insisting on an optimum contract.
