Selligent boosts its presence in Spain through a new partnership with CAP MASAO

Gosselies, January 28, 2008 - Selligent, one of Europe’s leading CRM developers, has recently signed a partnership agreement with CAP MASAO, a joint subsidiary of CAP SAP (Madrid) and MASAO (Paris). The mission of Madrid-based CAP MASAO is the exclusive distribution of the Selligent solution to public and private organisations in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as its integration. This partnership represents a step forward in Selligent’s strategy of international growth via a network of resellers and/or integrators.

For Franco-Belgian Selligent, this agreement is a concrete example of its aim to give pride of place to lasting partnerships. And Spain is eminently suited to putting this strategy into practice. As Selligent CEO André Lejeune points out, “with a growth rate of 3.9%, the Spanish market offers considerably better prospects than other European markets. Selligent already has some long-term, loyal customers there. The creation of CAP MASAO offers us the opportunity to further penetrate this fast expanding market and occupy a strong position, for example, in the banking segment. So it is perfectly attuned to Selligent’s goal of expanding its international reach to be able to engage 50% of the market potential in the European Union in 2008, and 80% in 2009.”

From its Madrid base, CAP MASAO will distribute Selligent solutions and support its customers during the implementation and start-up phases of their CRM projects. Since Selligent’s CRM solutions are highly configurable, they can be grafted onto existing ERP solutions, for example SAP, to great customer advantage. The combined skills of the two sides of the partnership – both in terms of CRM and SAP applications – will represent a sector benchmark. A cross-disciplinary team of seven people is currently operational. The 2009 plan is to double the headcount.

MASAO and CAP SAP executives also underscore the advantages inherent in the offering from the new company. Eric Soldati, CAP MASAO Executive Partner says, “We are in a position to develop an effective, original offering with an attractive price/performance ratio that gives us an edge over our strong competitors. This is because the Selligent CRM solution responds to the demands widely expressed by IS, sales and financial management. Naturally, the ease of interaction with SAP is an additional attraction.”
