Gosselies, 20 March 2007 The Management Committee of Selligent, a Franco-Belgian company which has become one of the leading CRM vendors in Europe, has appointed Albert Bokma as Chairman of its Board of Directors. He succeeds Thierry Téchy, Selligent's co-founder, who has held this role for six years.

The new Chairman is taking up his position at a key time in Selligent's development, with an expected increase in turnover for 2007 as well as possible external growth, following on from the company's strong performance in 2006 and great market interest in its Selligent X@ suite. Albert Bokma's mission is to sustain the strong growth initiated in 2006.

By appointing an external director as Chairman, Selligent's co-founders, Thierry Téchy and André Lejeune, aim to bring Selligent closer to corporate governance rules. It will also allow Thierry Téchy to concentrate on his role as CTO with the company.

"In view of the positive development of the market in 2006 and some extremely promising signs at the start of 2007, I am convinced that Selligent is ideally placed to step up its business with some major accounts, thanks to its innovative CRM solutions, in particular its SaaS offer" , stated Albert Bokma.

Albert Bokma, who is 51, holds various post-academic qualifications in the fields of management, finance and ICT. A well-known figure in the investment, consulting and IT management worlds, he has proven his expertise in a variety of roles over the past 25 years. Since 2003, he has implemented a wide range of strategically important projects as an Associate with Boer & Croon Executive Managers B.V. (Amsterdam). Prior to that, he spent several years in management positions with various European investment companies. In the 1990s and late 1980s, he also held some key managerial roles with major IT companies, such as Oracle Benelux, Tandem Computers EMEA and Wang Computers Netherlands, and companies in the financial services industry, in particular ABN-AMRO Bank and Gilde Investment Management.

A member of Selligent's Board of Directors since the second quarter of 2005 - the period which saw the launch of the new Selligent X@ software suite - Albert Bokma has already contributed to Selligent's development through his financial and commercial expertise and by facilitating new strategic partnerships.
