Gosselies, 16 May 2007 Selligent is integrating its own Business Process Management (BPM) tool into the brand-new version of its Selligent X@ suite while at the same time giving its analytical module both Data Mining and key performance indicator (KPI) functions. These three innovations result in a revolutionary approach to CRM.
Business Process Management
In a constantly-evolving context, companies have to be able not only to make their own business processes evolve rapidly, but also document them clearly in order to ensure their optimal adoption by the company's personnel. Aware of this double necessity, Selligent developed its own BPM tool integrated into the new version of its CRM suite Selligent X@. Named "Graphical Workflow", this tool makes it possible to:
optimise the design of the company's business processes;
document these business processes in an optimal manner;
classify the processes in free categories to facilitate their legibility and traceability;
define the links and interactions between the processes;
etc.

Data Mining and key performance indicators (KPI)
Available since April 2006, Selligent AnalytiX is an analytical solution which is powerful and easy to use, perfectly integrated into the CRM suite Selligent X@. It provides all users of the company - in their own language, thanks to Selligent's extensive multilingualism - reliable and updated dashboards on their performances, thus enabling them at all times to define the appropriate actions and prioritise them.
In its latest version, Selligent AnalytiX is enriched by two major functionalities: Data Mining and KPI.
The introduction of Data Mining into Selligent AnalytiX makes it possible for all of the data contained in Selligent X@ to be segmented, associated, cross-linked, etc. The power of Data Mining resides in the fact that the user no longer has to interpret the results of the analyses which are presented to him; it is the application which draws the conclusions itself.
Thanks to this innovation, companies can (for example) segment their customers on the basis of detailed profiles. It is now easy to determine the targets of campaigns, analyse purchase baskets in order to anticipate the buying behaviours of consumers, establish probabilities for commercial successes on the basis of the previous history of each prospect, etc.
Moreover, Selligent AnalytiX has a second major functionality: the possibility of defining key performance indicators (KPI).
BPM vision
Integrating business process management into the CRM solution of Selligent fits within a broader vision. Since the launch of Selligent X@, the decision-making aspect has clearly been placed at the service of the operational aspect. Today this interaction is further reinforced with the release of Selligent X@ 7.5.
"Thanks to the interaction of all of the components of our suite Selligent X@, processes can be triggered automatically. Ultimately, the BPM tool will be self-adaptive on the basis of performance indicators - which are moreover already present in Selligent AnalytiX. One can already envisage that the system will take, for example, the initiative of triggering a preventive maintenance campaign addressed to all users of a certain product, on the basis of the breakdown statistics for that product", declared André Lejeune, CEO of Selligent.
In addition to these major advances, Selligent X@ 7.5 supports the new operating system Windows Vista and the new version Internet Explorer 7 of Microsoft. The production version will be available at the end of June, both in SaaS mode and in licence acquisition mode.
