The FUNKE-Mediagroup is Germany's third largest newspaper and magazine publisher with a total of over 500 publications in five countries.
In July 2012, it was decided to build the FUNKE Aboshop; one central platform for selling subscriptions to all products. Just a few months later, the Aboshop was ready to be launched and today it is the main online platform for trials, registrations to full subscriptions and premium offers. Supporting customer life cycle communication and even recovery programs in case of cancellations.

For these reasons, FUNKE has chosen for Selligent as the software partner for creating the Aboshop and customer communication processes.
Just a few weeks after the launch there was an improved transparency of the check-out process noticeable. Critical drop points can now be identified a lot easier.
Within a couple of months FUNKE and Selligent succeeded in setting up the central online subscription platform for the largest newspaper group of the German Media Group aiming at boosting online sales and automating life cycle communication.
