Selligent was blessed last Thursday, June 26, with glorious sunshine for our annual Finance Connection event, bringing together partners and prospects in the Financial Services Industry (FSI). This year's addition took place at the beautiful estate of De Ruweberg near to the town of s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
Various speakers from around the Benelux region spoke in the morning including: Just van Weelden, Campaign Data Facilitator at Aegon Nederland; Chris Lievens, Consultant at Emakina Direct; and René Duiverman, Business Analyst at Ditzo, a.s.r. en De Amersfoortse.
The presentations of these Financial Wizz Kids fuelled the discussion about marketing in the Financial Services Industry and how Selligent can help to achieve the best results possible. Conversations of such nature can cause an increase in appetite. Fortunately, there was a delicious lunch prepared by the master chefs of Ruwenberg and the Selligent guests enjoyed a 3 course meal. smakelijk!
After lunch, a foreword was given by Hans Scheffer, Country Manager Benelux at Selligent and Max Ellercamp, Senior Account Manager at Selligent to introduce the afternoon session . As a key contact in all things FSI at Selligent, Max was a familiar face for the guests of The Finance Connection.
Tom Kellens, Solutions Consultant at Selligent gave a presentation on how Selligent software can provide extensive opportunities for FSI. In his presentation, he explained the benefits of behavioral targeting and highlighted the fact that it is the next logical step in online marketing. By combining CRM data and behavioral data, businesses gain a better understanding of existing customers and attract new leads. What's more: the campaigns made in Selligent's innovative software have tailored and personalized content for the individual consumer.
Wout van den Dool, Manager at Triodos Online Activities and Bas Brinkman, Segment Marketer BinckBank continued the session during the afternoon with best practices on how Selligent integrates into their organization.
The key note speaker of the day was Caspar Eras, an experienced marketer and specialist in multichannel marketing, online migration and e-commerce. He gave guests of Selligent's Finance Connection some golden rules for a successful marketing campaign.
